Amy B. Simon is a founding principal partner in A Simon Says, LLC a WBE certified firm that maximizes business potential through Communications, Marketing, Program Management, Consulting, Training, and Advocacy.
Amy brings over 17 years of experience to A Simon Says, LLC, providing Public and Community Relations, Reputation Management, Social Marketing Strategies, Media, Social Media and Digital Marketing Content and Messaging, Presentation and Media Training and Proactive and Reactive information services for public figures, business, government, education, entertainment and the arts.
Amy is experienced in board service as a member of the Arts Builds Community initiative of the Rutgers Bloustein School, and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, the Neighborhood Preservation Program and Orange/West Orange Brownfields Commission. Amy founded and served as Chairwoman of the New Jersey Arts Incubator Inc., a not- for – profit arts organization focusing on the business development and marketing of New Jersey artists in all disciplines. Amy previously served as a Legislative Aide to Assemblyman John F. McKeon D27, Amy has been recognized as a recipient of the 2010 Shirley Chisholm Award for Arts and Entertainment, the 2008 NJ Biz New Jersey’s Best 50 Women in Business award, and the 2008 NJ State Jefferson Award.
Amy B. Simon has a Bachelors of Arts Degree from the State University of New York and an advanced education degree from the National Shakespeare Company Conservatory. Amy has earned certificates in Reputation Management from the Public Relations Society of America, and Paralegal Studies from Rutgers University. She is certified in crisis and emergency information management, including Incident Command for Executives, ICS 17, ICS 200, Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings, Community Emergency Response Team and the State of NJ Department of Law and Safety Public Information Officers Course. Her affiliations include Public Relations Association of America, Women in Communications, New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners, the NJ Chamber of Commerce, the West Orange Chamber of Commerce and the Screen Actor’s Guild.
Amy is a published author and editorial writer, radio host and cable television producer. She began her career as an actor and writer in NYC appearing in theater, television, commercials and film and writing for theater, radio and comedy troupes.
