Two day Intensive Presentation Program
12 hours
6 hour program per day with breaks.
10-12 working participants
This two day intensive seminar prepares participants in the art of public speaking, including presentations of content or product in varying situations.
The program teaches how to deal with the fear inherent in public speaking, presentation construction, story-telling techniques, how to engage the audience, and the use of podiums and microphones, props and products.
This course will help focus the presenter to deliver a more effective presentation by engaging the listener, identifying key messages and tailoring the presentation to the audience.
Each participant will have two 15-minute opportunities to work on their material with group feedback and will receive a DVD of their individual working sessions.*

One-on-One seminars are also available in 2 hour segments.

Basic Public Speaking – Levels I–IV
I - Boot Camp Basics - Learn the basics from how to channel your nerves, how to stand still, what to do with your hands, and how to use a microphone and podium.
II -Your body Is Your Instrument – Learn to communicate using your face, eyes, voice and body through exercises and text from your presentation.
III -Down and Dirty – Dig in to your presentation text as you advance to speech construction, approaching your copy, refining your message, finding your own voice.
IV - The Finishing Touches –Learn about formatting your presentation and message for different speaking, selling or media opportunities.

Interview Techniques for Broadcast Media

Learn about techniques for successful appearances on television from preparing speaking points to what to wear and how to sit.
